Martin Houston
Mr Houston brings over four decades of global experience in the oil and gas industry, having commenced his career as a petroleum geologist in 1979. His extensive expertise includes leadership roles in exploration, production and liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Mr Houston retired from BG in 2014 as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director after a distinguished 32-year tenure. He is widely recognised as the architect of BG’s world-class LNG business. BG was acquired by Shell Plc in 2016.
Following his retirement from BG, Mr Houston co-founded Tellurian Inc. in 2016, where he most recently served as Executive Chair, overseeing its sale to Woodside Energy Group (ASX:WDS) in October 2024. Mr Houston also has deep ties to the Australian energy sector, having led the development of the Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) project and BG’s pioneering exploration program in the Taroom Trough from 2010-2014.
Currently, Mr Houston is a Non-Executive Director of Energean Plc, BUPA Arabia SA, and CC Energy Limited. He is also a Fellow of the Geological Society of London and a member of the U.S. National Petroleum Council.
Quentin Flannery
Quentin is the Chief Investment Officer of Ilwella Pty Ltd, the investment vehicle of the Flannery family office. He holds a Bachelor of International Business with a minor in Mandarin from Queensland University of Technology. Quentin has over 15 years’ experience in commodity markets having previously held the role of Global Head of Thermal Coal Sales for Yancoal Australia Limited.
Quentin is also Non-Executive Chairman of Field Orthopaedics Pty Ltd., a private medical device company specializing in extremity hand trauma medical implants. He is also a director of the Flannery Foundation which support women and children’s abuse and homelessness focused charities, is a Corporate Ambassador for Act for Kids and is on the Advisory Board of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Andrew Hackwood
Chief Executive Officer for Tri-Star, Andrew has extensive commercial expertise in the east coast gas market. His background includes senior roles at Santos and Macquarie Bank, and he currently serves as a director for a non-listed minerals exploration company.
Andrew is an energy, resources, infrastructure and investment executive. He has a blend of commercial, operational and major transaction experience, developed in executive management, investment banking and professional services roles.
Andrew has built and led high-performing multi-disciplinary teams in both large international public and private companies. Teams that he has led have delivered successful safety, commercial and business growth outcomes across a diverse array of assets and business operations.
Andrew has regularly advised Executive Committees and Boards on strategy and capital allocation and is experienced in developing governance processes and management tools to enhance business performance.
Andrew has frequently been involved in the negotiation and financing of major projects and transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and divestments, joint ventures, farm-outs, IPOs and restructurings. His financing experience includes raising equity, corporate finance, project finance, export credit agency finance and procurement of major infrastructure via build-own-operate contracts.
Andrew is a Management Committee Member of the Queensland Exploration Council and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Peter Stickland
Peter has over 30 years’ global experience in oil and gas exploration. Mr Stickland was Managing Director of Melbana Energy (ASX: MAY) from 2014 to 2018 leading the company into its Block 9 Cuba project.

Previously, Mr Stickland was Managing Director of Tap Oil Limited (ASX: TAP) from 2008 to 2010 during which time he oversaw the evolution of the company into a southeast Asia/Australia focussed E&P company. Prior to joining Tap Oil, Mr Stickland had a successful career with BHP Petroleum (now part of Woodside) including a range of technical and management roles.
Mr Stickland is also a Non-Executive Director of Melbana Energy (ASX: MAY), a Non-Executive Director of Elixir Energy (ASX: EXR), and a life member of the Australian Energy Producers Limited (AEP).
Stephen Harrison
Stephen brings substantial ASX board experience and a background in oil and gas, having served as director of Blue Energy and Exoma Energy. He currently chairs NobleOak Life (ASX: NOL) and Incentiapay (ASX: INP).

Stephen has over 35 years of experience in financial services, funds management, private equity and accounting. He was appointed as a Director of NobleOak Life in January 2011 and served as Chair of the Company from November 2018 to December 2024.
Mr Harrison is also the Chair and Co‑Founder of fund manager Conscious Capital Limited. Mr Harrison has previously served as a Director of ASX‑listed companies The Gruden Group/Sinetech Limited, Exoma Energy Limited, Blue Energy Limited and as Chair and Director of IncentiaPay Limited and Aumake Limited. He previously held Director positions with Investec Funds Management and the Australian subsidiary of US‑based fund manager Sanford C Bernstein.
Mr Harrison holds a Bachelor of Economics from Adelaide University, and is a Certified Practising Accountant.
Trevor Brown
Trevor is a geologist and executive with over 35 years’ experience with oil and gas exploration, development, and production in Australia, SE Asia and USA.

Trevor spent 15 years with Santos where he led the Exploration and New Ventures Business, then as Vice President Queensland, where he led the Upstream (Exploration and Production) division of the $25bn GLNG Project through development, construction and start-up.
Trevor serves as a Director on several private resource companies and advises Boards and Executive teams in the Resource, Energy and Power sectors.

Milton Cooper
Milton brings over 30 years’ experience to his role as Chief Commercial Officer, having held senior commercial and finance roles within a range of listed oil and gas companies both domestically and abroad.

Milton was at Santos for 20 years where he held the position of Vice President Commercial in Indonesia for five years, as well as being Country Manager in Vietnam, along with other senior commercial and business development roles in Australia.
Milton spent eight years in the United Kingdom based in London and Aberdeen in senior commercial roles with Premier Oil, Hess Corporation and Burlington Resources. Milton is a Fellow of CPA Australia and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of South Australia.
David Franks
David is a Director and Principal of the Automic Group. As a Senior Executive, Company Secretary and Director of ASX Listed Entities and Professional Services organisations, David has over 25 years of experience within this field, in a diverse range of industries.

David is a Chartered Accountant, Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, Justice of the Peace, Registered Tax Agent and holds a Bachelor of Economics (Finance and Accounting) from Macquarie University.
With over 25 years in finance and accounting, initially qualifying with Price Waterhouse in their Business Services and Corporate Finance Divisions, David has been CFO, Company Secretary and/or Director for numerous ASX listed and unlisted public and private companies, in a range of industries including energy retailing, software as a service, transport, financial services, mineral exploration, technology, automotive, software development wholesale distributions, retail, biotechnology and healthcare.
